Transportation Assistance Program
Many of our neighbors cannot get cancer treatment because they do not have gas money for the many trips that cancer treatments require. All funds raised through donations or community events will be used right here in our own community, rather than sent somewhere else where we never know what happened to them. The Cancer Angels Network helps sponsor local events to help raise funds for cancer patients in need in our community.
By donating or participating in these events, you are helping support our local organization in providing gas cards to our communities cancer patients in need. Every dollar raised for the Cancer Angels Network goes directly back in to the community.

Cancer Angels Network Program
This program is designed for people who have been touched by cancer who want to help but don’t know how. They want to become more involved, they want to know how they can help others going through the same thing and they want to share their experience to help others. We provide cancer patients in need with Gas Cards to assist them with getting to and from their treatments.
Awareness
The Angels program will improve cancer awareness by getting real people out there talking. It will also be an excellent way to provide positive feedback for the cancer center. The Cancer Angels will become a community resource by becoming walking examples for cancer awareness.
Early Detection & Prevention
Cancer Angels can help refer to local programs, clinics and healthcare providers. They can also provide informational brochures and help the patients learn more about their issues and illness. Cancer Angels will be educated and trained to become community guides in the field of cancer. They will have knowledge on early detection's, prevention, symptoms, risk factors, health screenings and more.
Guidance
With a personal Angel, some patients may have an easier time asking questions, sharing their concerns and opening up to each other as opposed to a group of people or even their healthcare providers. The Cancer Angels may even convince the patient to speak with their health care provider about any issues that may arise. The Cancer Angels can give guidance on what to expect. It is an opportunity to connect supportive services to patients earlier in their care. Cancer Angels may be convincing fearful people to seek healthcare early by doing so Angels could improve curability of cancer by prevention and early diagnosis.
